Marketing Prime Beef – Warwickshire

Join AHDB Beef & Lamb and the NFU for this practical on farm event. The event will look at aspects of marketing prime beef cattle including production, knowing your market, selection for slaughter and hitting market specification. There will also be a butchery demo looking at new ways of butchering beef in order to meet changing consumer demands.
Bert finishes approximately 700 cattle per year, sending them to Morrison’s Woodheads, Spalding.

Over supper the NFU West Midlands Livestock Board, led by Chairman Richard Yates, will discuss current issues and the union’s work on behalf of livestock farmers.
